Florida Bright Futures Scholarship
Remember to complete your Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) by August 31 of your senior year to be considered for a Bright Futures Scholarship. Counselors will facilitate the application process through classroom visits in November. This application is crucial for determining your eligibility for state scholarship programs based on academic achievement.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Don't forget to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by June 30, 2026 for the 2026-27 academic year. The FAFSA opens on October 1st and is required for federal grants, loans, and work-study programs. Many state and institutional aid programs also require FAFSA completion.
CSS Profile
Many private colleges and universities require the CSS Profile in addition to the FAFSA. The CSS Profile opens on October 1st and provides a more detailed financial picture for institutional aid decisions. Check with your target schools to see if they require the CSS Profile and note their specific deadlines.
