Summer Programs & Institutes

Many colleges and universities offer pre-college programs, both in academics and the arts, with options on-campus and online.

Private companies and research institutions may also offer summer opportunities for high school students.

These programs can offer unique enrichment opportunities and are a great way to demonstrate interest and effort in your areas of interest!

Some programs may offer high school and/or college credit.

Remember that the School of the Arts Foundation (SOAFI) offers scholarships for summer programs.

When looking at programs through private companies, we recommend doing thorough research to ensure it is reputable and long-standing.

Going to a pre-college program at a university does not guarantee admission to that school.
